send0

Status & known gaps

What's shipping today, what's coming, and what we've consciously deferred.

send0 is in invite-only BETA. We ship with an opinion: email, done fully — both directions, send and receive.

Shipping today

  • Transactional email via POST /v1/emails
  • Batch sends up to 100 recipients (POST /v1/emails/batch)
  • Webhook events with HMAC-SHA256 signatures
  • Domains, templates, contacts, API keys, suppressions — full CRUD
  • Idempotency keys, sk_test_ sandbox mode, audit log, MFA
  • TypeScript SDK (npm i send0) with typed errors and retries

In private beta

  • Inbound email. Inbound routes, MIME parsing, the email.received webhook, and a retrieve API. Rolling out to beta workspaces.
  • Programmable inboxes. Webmail inbox UI, threading/conversations, full-text search, reply-from-inbox, and auto-forwarding.
  • IMAP / POP access. Connect a standard mail client to a send0 inbox.

Coming next

  • Python + Go SDKs. Scaffolds exist but aren't published. See the roadmap.
  • Campaign builder. Deliberately not shipped yet — focus is on making the send and receive paths bulletproof.
  • Dedicated IPs. Blocked on AWS opening port 25 outbound on our EC2 account. All customers currently send via shared infrastructure.

Not planned

  • WhatsApp, SMS, or other channels. send0 is email, and only email. We're not building a multi-channel platform.
  • Self-hosted deployments. We're a managed service.
  • A free tier for marketing blasts. Transactional has a generous free tier; marketing will be usage-priced.

If something you need isn't here, email support@send0.dev — we read every note during BETA.
